During the Siggraph, Shinoda Lab along with researchers from University of Tokyo introduced a new discovery they call Airborne Ultrasound Tactile Display. The display radiates airborne ultrasound, which produces high-fidelity pressure fields onto the user's hands. It is designed to provide a tactile feedback in 3D free space.
