In collaboration with Fred Torres Collaborations and Armand Bartos Fine Art, curators Elena Rubinfeld and Sarah Murkett have put together Knock Knock: who's there? That joke isn't funny anymore, a group exhibition that looks at the use of humor in art as a hook to tackle more complex social, sexual and political issues. From the use of parody, satire, wordplay, games and jokes, this historic exhibition, mounted over two venues, is superficially all farce, puns and gaff, exposing the embedded tensions inherent in the work when the laughter dies down.
