Just saw a beautiful exhibition at Jonathan Levine Gallery of Jim Houser's work. The exhibition consists of paintings, sculptures and on site specific installations as well as original score composed by the artist. There's a benign quality about his paintings, a visual poetry with a minimal palette that is very agreeable to my mind and eye.
