Workshop for Modernity
Bauhaus is a school in Germany that has brought together and originated artists, architects, industrial designers, photographers, textil designers of avant-garde art.
Founded in 1919 and shut down by the Nazis in 1933. The exhibition consists of over 400 works of faculty and famous students such as Anni Albers, Josef Albers, Herbert Bayer, Marianne Brandt, Marcel Breuer, Lyonel Feininger, Walter Gropius, Vasily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, László Moholy-Nagy, Lucia Moholy, Lilly Reich, Oskar Schlemmer, and Gunta Stölzl. Showing at MoMa from Nov 8-Jan 25, 2010.
